I have been involved with all aspects of offshore work both safety and contractual on Pipe lay - umbilical lay - rock dumping - spool installations – Hyper-baric welding - Trenching - Pipeline repair – Sub sea completions - Wellhead abandonment - Pipeline shore pulls - Outfalls - Inlets - IRM - civil engineering projects - pile removal and repair - seawater intake construction - fish deterrent system installation.
 
I have also been involved and written manuals on wellhead maintenance, repair and deep water pipeline repair techniques and Hydrate removal procedures. Various work capacities both on and offshore. Audits assessments on diving and marine operations from D.P DSV and anchor type vessels. For the last 20 years I have been involved with all aspects of sub sea wellheads from installation, work over, repair, and commissioning, working with FMC, FSSL, Reagan, Cameron, and Konsburg.

Conoco UK - Client Representative (combined operations) Marine Superintendent onboard Rockwater 1 & Semi 1 Overseeing all aspects of the Gawain, Jupiter developments. Co-ordination and control of all vessels within project including pipe lay on Castoro 6, trenching, riser installation, umbilical installation, spool and wellhead installation, pigging & testing, and wellhead commissioning.
 
1993-1994 - Arco China Inc (South China Seas)
Marine Superintendent On L.B. Semac 1 for development of Yacheng - China sub sea pipeline and construction activities in the South China Sea. Pipe lay from Hong Kong to Hannah Island 708KLM 28" and 16" into Island and pipe-pull from beach.

Client Representative Office based at Bacton production and writing of wellhead maintenance manuals Produce work scope for ROV survey for wellhead hydraulic leak and install wellhead Umbilical. Ann project Onboard DSV.DP Seaway Harrier for pipeline metrology and mattress installation. Audrey wellhead remedial and removal of production spool and installation.

Client Representative Orwell project for Thames field developments onboard L.B. Lorelay for pipeline installation of 16" X 3" piggy back from Orwell sub sea wellhead to Thames platform. Onboard trenching vessel Trenchsetter and DSV Seaway Harrier for spool tie-ins.

Client Representative Recovery and installation of 10" pipeline for repair and wellhead spools, install flexi spool with PLEM. Hydro testing and de-watering of pipeline, testing and commissioning.

Client Representative CMS development onboard L.M. Balder for pipe pull operations from beach and diving operations for Floatation tanks removal.

Client Representative IRM sub sea wellheads - Office based (Bacton) produce work scope and scheduling for diving activities for DSV operations. Mobilise vessel for survey and maintenance for damage pipeline and spool removal.

Client Representative Pickerill development On board trench barge 331 for jetting in pipeline and post ditch survey from inshore pull.
